The Strategic Partnership Right Here, Right Now (RHRN) addresses the limited respect, protection and the hindered fulfillment of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of young people in 10 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America and in 1 sub-region, the Caribbean. Zimbabwe is among the countries, which seek to safeguard the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of its young people, hence, the establishment of the Right Here Right Now Zimbabwe Platform.
The RHRN Zimbabwe Platform is composed of twelve Civil Society Organizations and Population Services Zimbabwe (PSZ) has been designated as the host organization.
The platform is seeking to fill the role of National Coordinator who will be in charge of coordinating the work of the RHRN platform and serve as linking pin between platform members.
Coordinate the implementation of country plans and supports the platform in Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) in liaison with the regional team
Monitor the national policy environment and keeps the platform updated on key developments relevant to the platform.
Facilitate Linking with other existing initiatives relevant to the work of the platform, seeking alignment and harmonization
Overall responsibility for the internal and external communication of the platform;
Selection will be based on the following minimum qualifications, experience and competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, social sciences, social work, health sciences or related field with a minimum of three years of progressive responsible experience in SRHR program management, advocacy and managing strategic partnerships.
Must understand the SRHR context of Zimbabwe today and more broadly the Zimbabwe policy landscape and have working knowledge of key national and International frameworks that mandate SRHR work
Strong project cycle management experience including monitoring and evaluation,
Budgeting, financial and technical reporting experience
Has experience in/with youth-led organizations/projects or with meaningful youth participation;
Is available to travel regionally and internationally (when needed);
Good skills in the use of ICTs and Social Media Platforms;
