Her Zimbabwe, Harare
Daphne is a writer and blogger who is passionate about youth and women’s rights advocacy. She has written for Her Zimbabwe, Ilizwi 263 and other Zimbabwean offline publications. With an interest in thought leadership, she also volunteers for a number of young women’s and youth organisations. Her main interest is in using online and new media for advocacy. She is passionate about facilitating access to information for ordinary citizens. Having been a participant of the Mobile Community Zimbabwe (MCZ) project, she has demonstrated a passion to report on untold community stories. Daphne holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Media and Society Studies from the Midlands State University (MSU) and Executive certificates in Monitoring and Evaluation and Project Management from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). She is currently studying towards a diploma in Public Relations with the Zimbabwe Institute of Public Relations (ZIPR).
