Shoko Festival Hub Unconference is calling for young innovative minds to participate or attend the Hub Unconference.
The Hub Unconference & Hub Awards will be held during Shoko Festival taking place at Harare City Library on the 24th and 25th of September.
How to Participate?
Send in a concept paper of an idea that falls under one of the following categories:
Best Use Of Animation, Photography & Video Engaging Citizens for Positive Social Impact
Best Online Platform Addressing Environmental Issues & Climate Change
Speak up: Best Online Platform Seeking Truth & Demanding Accountability from Decision Makers
Most Innovative Use Of New Media To Promote & Protect Human Rights Including Access to Health, Education, Gender Rights and Basic Necessities
To the email address email@example.com . It could be a new idea or a new concept of an existing project.
Anyone below 40 years with an innovative idea that falls under one of the above categories is eligible.
If the concept paper is approved by the judges, the applicant gets to present at the conference and stands a chance to win prize money which will be used towards the development of the presented idea.
Anyone is free to attend but the limited seats require one to RSVP attending the event via firstname.lastname@example.org. Local and foreign speakers will be speaking on topical issues such as New Media, Citizen Journalism, Start Ups among other topics.

Shoko Festival Hub Unconference is an initiative meant to celebrate innovation and new media which is being pioneered by young leaders.
